The menu stated snack would be banana bread -or- cheese and pickles. There were no cheese or pickles offered. The snacks for 2 days on spring/ summer weeks 2 and 4 were reviewed. Some days the snack is written as 1 food group -or- the other.
The snacks reviewed continue to represent 1 food group being offered to the PICs.

Date to be Corrected: June 30, 2016

Comments

The menu Audits for Spring/Summer weeks 2 and 4 were reviewed beside the menu audit tool identified with the week. The Audit tool did not reflect what the LO found in the menu. A copy of the Canada Food Guide was left with the staff to provide assistance with identifying sizes and qualities of food portions.
The staff and manager were extremely helpful with this inspection. I would like to thank every one for their assistance.
