Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection to Routine Inspection # CJOS-BYYVHT, dated March 5, 2021, was completed to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Residential Care Regulations (RCR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). This inspection was the second follow-up to Routine Inspection # CJOS-BYYVHT and focused on repeat contraventions noted in Follow-up Inspection # JBAY-C3JTMU dated May 28, 2021.

The following care systems were reviewed during this inspection:
- Staffing

Findings in this report were discussed with management while on site. Management did not sign this report as this report was written off site and was sent via email to the facility to reduce the amount of time the licensing officer had to spend on site as per COVID-19 prevention measures.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

A review of the facility's staffing records found evidence that copies of staff diplomas, certificates, and employee training or skills are now being kept. Additionally, a review of staffing records found that the facility is now in compliance with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.
