Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility License. Licensing Officers inspected the premise on October 1st, 2019, and confirmed that care was being provided to three children unrelated to the operator. Licensing determined that Nada Itami was operating an unlicensed facility in contravention of the Community Care Assisted Living Act (CCALA).

The following contravention was cited:
- CCALA section 5(a) Operating without a license

The operator is required to immediately reduce the number of children in care. Licensing contacted families and will conduct a follow-up inspection.

A follow-up inspection was conducted on October 18th, 2019, and Licensing observed the facility is in compliance with CCALA.

Observation: The operator confirmed they have been caring for 3 children since last September.
