Report of Findings
CCFL received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility Licence. Licensing officers inspected the premise on November 28th, 2019. Licensing observed 4 children in care not related by blood or marriage. Licensing determined that Leah Corvec was operating an unlicensed facility, in contravention of the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA).

The following contravention was cited:
- Community Care Assisted Living Act section 5(a) Operating or advertising without a licence

The operator is required to immediately reduce the number of children in care and provide written confirmation of compliance. CCFL notified families of the children in care. CCFL will conduct a follow up inspection.

A follow up inspection was completed by CCFL on December 16th, 2019, which confirmed compliance.
