| On January 16, 2023, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns with an incident of aggression between persons in care. The complainant provided the following details: - a person in care sustained an injury after being involved in an aggressive incident with another person in care - staff knew the person in care was aggressive, but did not take steps to prevent aggression All areas of the complaint were thoroughly investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from documentation and inspections. The following contraventions were determined: - Residential Care Regulation - Section 80(2) - Short term care plan in admission, - Residential Care Regulation - Section 85(1)(d) - Policies and procedures |
