Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection was conducted to assess if requirements of the Residential Care Regulation are being met.
Evidence for this report was based on the licensing officers observations and information provided by the staff at the time of inspection.

The purpose of this inspection is to determine whether the Licensee has taken corrective actions to address unmet requirements identified in Routine Inspection #AROE-CCBQZZ.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 31300 - RCR s.22(1)(c) - A licensee must ensure that all rooms and common areas are (c) maintained in a safe and clean condition.
Observation: Noted during inspection, the servery in Rosewood has dirty baseboards, with a 2 cm thick soil along the baseboard where the tile floor and baseboard meet. Also noted in the same servery, the counter top behind the sink where it meets the backsplash is black in colour and missing caulking along the entire stretch of counter.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that all rooms and common areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Comments

This licensing office would like to thank the Manager and staff for their assistance in completing this follow-up inspection.

Discussion with management:
-confirms the plans for tub replacement are progressing.
-confirms that some staff performance reviews have been completed and plans to finish 5-10 more before the beginning of March 2023.


This report was reviewed with the manager on site and signed, it was then emailed to the Managers.
