| Community Care Facilities Licensing received a complaint on November 23, 2023, regarding the physical facility, care and supervision, policies and procedures, and medication. All areas of the complaint were investigated in full. Evidence was obtained and reviewed through on-site inspections, interviews, and a review of documentation. Licensing confirmed that the call bell located in a person in care’s bathroom did not work and they could not use it to call for assistance if needed. The following contravention to the Residential Care Regulation was determined: section 21(c), Equipment and Furnishings. |
