Introduction

A follow up inspection to Routine Inspection JSAT-BMLUH7, dated March 2 & 3rd, 2020 was completed to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Residential Care Regulations (RCR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).

The following care systems were reviewed during this inspection:
- Licensing
- Physical Facility
- Staffing
- Policies and Procedures
- Care and Supervision
- Medication

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

The facility is now up and running on Point click care (PCC). Ongoing education is being provided to the DOC and staff moving forward.

Staff files are being reviewed and updated, complete update of staff files is expected to be complete by March 1, 2021.

It was observed that all care systems are implemented and that the facility operates in compliance with legislation. Self-monitoring is comprehensive and regular with review for improvement.

This report was discussed with the DOC & manager on site, and will be delivered Via e-mail due to Covid-19 procedures.
