Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection:

At the inspection dated January 30, 2024 there were 7 children, 2 staff, 2 additionally individuals and the manager present.
At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
No action required by the licensee or licensing.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.

The following discussions were had;
- Review of facility contact information- email address and phone number
- Reportable Incident Reporting –Duty Line 604-587-3936
- Minor Incident Log books- Documenting when parents were notified of illness or injury
- Children's files- walk in clinics with a phone number is acceptable for doctors information, start dates are documented on the child's payment form suggested to add it to the registration form so all information is kept in one place.

This inspection report was reviewed with the manager and a copy of both the report and Risk Assessment were provided to the facility at the time of inspection.
