NOTE: Unable to calculated velocity over the main drain to determine if a suction hazard exists as no information submitted to FHA regarding make/model of Main Drain covers

NOTE: as facility lacks Engineer Swimming pool data sheet the calculations to determine if a suction hazard exist can not be determined. There is no current information regarding type or make and model of main drains therefore calculations can not be made to determine if a suction hazard exists. The facility is to ascertain either a Swimming Pool Data Sheet that is certified from an engineer OR a Non-Certified Pool Data Record (can be obtained from Swimming Pool Maintenance Company). This is to include the make and model of the current main drains. When the information is obtained ensure the pool safety plan is updated to include the new information.

NOTE: The facility currently has 2 main drain covers that do not appear to be VGB compliant. Discuss with Pool Operating Technician. When the facility replaces the main drains:
1) the facility must apply for a "Main Drain Replacement Construction Permit Waiver" - hard copy provided to operator
2) the facility must ensure the new Main Drains are VGB compliant - The Recreational Water Update for Pool and Hot Tub Operators information provided to operator

The above items need to be resolved. Ensure inspection report is discussed at next strata meeting and outstanding issues are resolved.
