- Water Temperature: 26.9C
- Water Clarity: Pattern of the main drain is clearly visible.
- Pool test kit available to test water chemistry.
- Pool records are maintained per the Pool Regulation.
- Ladder handrails and staircase handrail are tight and secure.
- Depth markings, edges of pool steps, and point-of-break line are clear and in a contrasting colour. **Point-of-break line, top pool step edge, and shallow end wall depth marking on pool basin must be repainted/ re-tiled in BLACK before 2025 summer season. Some areas are faded and worn off.
- Pool Safety Rules are posted. Pool manager contact number posted on Pool Safety Rules sign.
- "No Lifeguard on Duty" sign is posted.
- Reaching Pole and Throw Ring are present and accessible.
- Equalizer lines at skimmers (x2) are plugged.
- Floating weirs at skimmers (x2) are present and in an acceptable position.
- Chemical storage appears satisfactory.
- Flow meter is present and operational. Observed flow rate: ~60 US GPM
- Pressure gauge is present and operational. Gauge reading: ~25 psi
- Backwash procedures and frequency reviewed with operator. No concerns noted. Operator states that pool is backwashed when pressure gauge reading reaches 30 psi.
- Change room sinks have hot and cold water, liquid soap and papertowels.
- Maximum hot water temperature at change room faucets is in compliance (<49C):
- Men's (shower: 40.1C; sink: 48.1C)
- Women's (shower: 46.4; sink: 47.8C)
- General sanitation of pool area and change rooms appears satisfactory.
- Operator states that pool lights have been disconnected and are no longer in operation.

Suction Hazard Evaluation (based on main drain cover model AQUASTAR 10" A10RCFR101 with an open area of 31.5 in2):

Note:

**Operator provided a non-certified Pool Data Record that was completed by a pool company. Pool Data Record is dated 06-June-2023. Information on the Pool Data Record does not appear to be the same facility. Operator has contacted the pool company and a date has been scheduled for the pool company to come on-site to review Pool Data Record and make corrections. Provide updated Pool Data Record to Fraser Health once it has been completed.

**Existing main drain cover in pool basin appears to be VGB compliant. Main drain cover model appears to be A10RCFR101. Per manufacturer, this main drain cover has a life span of 5 years from date of installation. Last date of installation is unknown. Main drain cover must be replaced like-for-like. Operator stated that they will schedule cover to be replaced September 2024. **Main drain cover replacement must be like-for-like.** If a different main drain cover model is proposed, operator must submit "SUCTION HAZARD: Application for Main Drain Replacement" form and all supporting documents to Fraser Health. Approval of replacement drain covers is required.
