Observation: - Mouse droppings noted on floor under shelving unit in Aisle 5 (chip aisle).
Corrective Action(s): - Clean up all droppings and disinfect area. Continue to monitor for further activity and ensure any additional droppings are cleaned up and the area disinfected. Note: Manager reported a call out has been placed for the floor under this particular aisle/shelving unit to be cleaned.
- Continue to maintain a high level of sanitation and ensure any food items which have fallen under shelving are cleaned up.
- Follow all recommendaitions of Pest Control Techinician.

Observation: - Sliding door cooler in receiving hallway used for storage of extra stock lacks thermometer.
Corrective Action(s): - Supply thermometer to cooler so that temperature can be monitored to ensure it is 4C or colder. To be corrected by: 05-May-2022

Comments

- Retail store with pre-packaged food items including a limited quantity of potentially hazardous refrigerated and frozen products.
- Sliding door cooler (aisle 5) was 3C. Thermometer present in unit. Ensure temperature is routinely monitored to ensure unit is at 4C or colder.
- Sliding door cooler (receiving hallway) 4C. Per violation above, thermometer to be supplied to unit
- Single door reach-in (ice cream) freezer -22C
- Beverage cooler (front of store) 2-4C. No potentially hazardous foods (drinks) were stored in the coolers at time of the inspection.
- Manager reported first in first out process is followed when re-stocking products.
- Food products were stored on shelving >6 inches off of the floor.
- Pest Control contract in place with monthly service.
