| Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility Licence. Licensing Officers inspected the premise on January 6, 2021, and observed 3 children in care unrelated to the operator. Licensing determined Kianna MacLean was operating an unlicensed facility in contravention of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA). The following contravention was cited: -Community Care Assisted Living Act section 5(a) Operating or advertising without a licence The operator is required to immediately reduce the number of children in care to no more than two children unrelated to her or a sibling group. The Licensing Officer will conduct a follow up inspection to confirm ongoing compliance. |
