Introduction

A scheduled follow-up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CC&ALA) the Residential Care Regulation (RCR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP) for the contravention identified during the routine inspection WCLK-APNLFE conducted on July 25, 2017.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #WCLK-APNLFE have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During this inspection Licensing observed the following:
black rubber mats placed in front of the sink and washing machine in the laundry area
staff checklists were available in a binder in the staff office

Health & Safety Plan: A plan was submitted by the Licensee documenting that during the renovations to the lower level (office and wall in one bedroom) that there would be no youth in care. The renovations have been completed and there were not youth in care at this inspection. As the renovations are complete the plan is no longer required. Staff confirmed they have a pending referral.

A copy of this report was reviewed, discussed and provided to the Manager.
