Introduction

On May 05, 2016, CCFL attended the facility for the purpose of conducting an unscheduled inspection of the physical premise as part of a routine inspection. However, on arrival a staff meeting was in process. It was therefore agreed CCFL would conduct a scheduled routine inspection on May 17, 2016.

The L.O. guide to data base coding was used for the inspection.

Comments

At the time of this inspection, the following was noted:

Physical Premise:
Walls in the main area appear marked from the wheel chairs
Flooring in the dining area appears very worn
Cupboards appear old and worn with areas of the melamine chipping and/or cracked.

Although the above items are not coded at this time, it is expected that there will be a maintenance program/plan to maintain the facility.

In general this facility appears to have systems in place to maintain compliance with the RCR and CCALA.
