Report of Findings
Community Care Facility Licensing (CCFL) received information that the care being provided at this address may require a Community Care Facility Licence.
Licensing Officers inspected the premise on November 7, 2019, and observed one child, part of a sibling group in care unrelated to the operator. However, the operator said that an additional sibling group is cared for after school hours.
Licensing determined Deanne Zastre was operating an unlicensed facility in contravention of the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA).

The following contravention was cited:
- Community Care Assisted Living Act section 5(a) Operating or advertising without a licence

The operator is required to immediately reduce the number of children in care to no more than two children unrelated to her. The Licensing Officer will conduct a follow up inspection to confirm ongoing compliance.

On January 30, 2020, Licensing completed an unannounced follow up inspection. CCFL confirmed the unlicensed facility is operating in compliance with CCALA.
