Observation: The bottle of CS20 is expired, as per manufacturer's date on the bottle. The strength of the HLD may not be adequate to kills pathogens.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately purchase a new bottle of CS20, and ensure the expiration date is okay. Send an email with a photo of the new bottle and expiration date.

Comments

A routine inspection was completed, the following observations were made:
- CS20 present in soaking container, but it is expired. Owner stated that she changes the CS20 solution every week.
- Disposable paper towels, cotton balls, and rotary files present.
- Cloth towels present and adequate supply present, so they are used once and then laundered.
- Alcohol used to disinfect hard surfaces after use.
- General sanitation level is good.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Laundry facilities on-site.
- No complimentary food or drink offered.

**A follow-up inspection to occur to ensure a new, unexpired bottle of CS20 is purchased and used to disinfect instruments**
