Comments

Licensing observed the paintwork on the deck to be peeling. The manager stated that the paintwork was replaced last year but is already coming off. The facility plans on replacing the paintwork within the next 12 months.

The policies have been reviewed within the last 12 months (as per the manager) but no date is printed on them. The manager stated that following the agency's CARF review this has been something that is being followed up on.

Licensing reminded the manager that the dental care plans can be reviewed and signed off on every year by the manager to confirm that no changes are needed.

The manager stated that the dietician and dysphagia consultant will be coming to the facility on May 23rd for a staff inservice.
