Corrective Actions Remaining: -Continue sampling as per the Environmental Health Officer request to determine the levels of manganese in the distribution system and provide copies of sample results to Northern Health. -Continue liaising with drinking water specialist and /or public health engineers to assess and propose a treatment specific for the system to reduce the level of manganese to below the maximum acceptable concentration. -Submit the treatment proposal to Northern Health Public Health Engineer in a construction permit application and install the approved treatment system to reduce manganese. -Submit post treatment samples in accordance with conditions of the proposed construction permit to ascertain treatment efficacy. |
