Report of Findings
On December 6, 2019, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns regarding care and supervision and nutrition.

The allegations included the following details:
- Inadequate care was provided to a person in care
- A person in care sustained injuries while in care
- A representative was denied reasonable access to a person in care
- A person in care’s diet texture was changed without consultation and concerns were expressed regarding the PIC’s inadequate intake at meals

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from records, policies and procedures, inspection, interviews, and emails.

The following contraventions were determined:
- Residential Care Regulation, Section 57 (1) Access to persons in care
