Report of Findings
On Oct 26, 2021, Licensing received a complaint regarding care and supervision.

The allegations included the following details:
- Personal safety concerns
- Medical assessments not being completed
- Dietary needs not being addressed

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from records, policies and procedures, inspection, and emails.

The following contraventions were determined:
Residential Care Regulation RCR s.34650 - RCR s.81(3)(c)(ii) - A care plan must include all of the following: (c) a nutrition plan that (ii) specifies the nutrition to be provided to the person in care, including the requirements of any therapeutic diets.
Substantiated Contraventions: Evidence for this summary report is based on a combination of the Licensing Officer’s observations, a review of facility records and information provided by the facility staff at the time of the investigation.

Observation: Review of the PIC's documents determined that there was a discrepancy in regards to whether the PIC was to be on a diabetic diet or not.
