Licensing received a complaint on July 31, 2023 regarding Care & Supervision and Records & Reporting. Evidence was obtained and reviewed through on-site inspections, and a review of documentation. Licensing confirmed that staff had denied a person in care’s (PIC) preference to eat with a fork. This preference was not included in the PIC’s care plan. It was determined that the operator failed to meet the requirements of section 81(2)(b) of the Residential Care Regulation, Care plan needed if more than 30 day stay. |
