All businesses that offer tanning are inspected by the Health Department. This includes any facility with tanning beds or booths that are used by the public or by the people at that facility such as:
- Tanning Businesses
- Apartments, townhouses, condos, or other housing that offers tanning to residents.
- Salons or Spas
- Gyms
Inspection Frequency
All Tanning Facilities are inspected 2 times per year. Tanning Facilities can be inspected more frequently if needed such as prior to a large event or due to poor history of compliance.
